Yes I’m at it again. After a 3 year hiatus I’ve made another commercial for the Doritos Crash the Superbowl Contest.
My spot this year is called Baby Riot! and proves that baby gates and Dads can’t stop the determination of a trio of babies when it comes to getting their mitts on the bold cheesy taste of Doritos.
I am incredibly proud of the spot and feel very strong about our chances in the contest this year. It has it all, babies, humor, and senseless violence! I mean, what’s not to like?
I had an absolutely fantastic cast and crew working on the project, some of whom I’ve never worked with before, but I’m sure I’ll be working with again.
Cast (in alphabetical order):
- Paul Cuoco Writer-Director, Editor
- Joth Riggs, Producer and Assistant Director
- Garrett Benson – DP
- Karen Harper – Production Designer
- Courtney Parks – Set Dresser
- Grip – Mike Moats
- Andrew Nagy – Location Sound
- David de Vos – DIT
- Peter Lehman (Visible Sound) – Sound Design & Mix
- Paul Cuoco (Not Afraid!) and Matthew Reithmayr (Doulos Media) – Visual Effects
- Dara Cuoco – Co-Producer/Craft Services
- Cheri Waterhouse – Production Assistant / Craft Services
While Doritos and their consultants choose the finalists for the contest, I have to believe that Doritos site star ratings, watch count, and number of likes on YouTube and Facebook will also have some bearing on the decision making. So please, click the like button, rate it on the Doritos site (dare I say 5 stars), and share this spot with everyone you know. Post it to your social networks, encourage your friends, family and co-workers to like it, rate, and share it as well.

If we win, my cast and crew will be sure to thank you for it!
Semi-finalists will be announced on or about 12/14/13, so I’ll keep you posted on our progress. Hope you like the spot and again, please share! Thank you!
